2022 Nov. The twelfth TAHPM Board of Directors was established, and Dr. Shao-Yi Cheng was elected as President.
2019 Jun. The eleventh TAHPM Board of Directors was established, reelecting Dr. Jaw-Shiun Tsai as the President.
29Jun. Celebration activity “Twenty Years of Brilliance, Taiwan Hospice Palliative Care Forever” in Grand Hotel Taipei. 
2017  Jul. The tenth TAHPM Board of Directors was established, and Dr. Jaw-Shiun Tsai was elected as President.
2016  16 Jan. The Patient Self-Determination Act was promulgated by Presidential Order Hua Chung (1) Yi Tze No. 10400154061 and will take effect three years after promulgation.
2015 Oct. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, in an investigation of 80 countries, Taiwan ranked sixth in the second edition of the Quality of Death Index and first among the countries of Asia.
Oct. TAHPM was awarded by the Ministry of the Interior as a National Outstanding Civil Organization in 2014.
 Jul. The ninth TAHPM Board of Directors was established, reelecting Dr. Shih-Tzu Tsai as the President.
Apr.-Jun. In cooperation with the Red Cross Society of the Republic of China (Taiwan), TAHPM organized two sessions of the Hospice and Palliative Care Education Training Courses for the medical staff from the Mian County, Shanxi Province in China.
23 Apr. The Home Health Medicare Integration Program was announced by the National Health Insurance Administration.
30 Jan.~2 Feb. The President of TAHPM, Dr. Shih-Tzu Tsai, the Secretary General Dr. Chien-An Yao, the Standing Director Dr. Ying-Wei Wang, and the President of TAHPN, Mdm. Yiet-Ling Su, visited Mian County, Shanxi Province in China to assist in planning the development of hospice palliative care and a program for staff training.
2013 Jun. The eighth TAHPM Board of Directors was established, and Dr. Shih-Tzu Tsai was elected as President.
2011 Jun. The seventh TAHPM Board of Directors was established, reelecting Dr. Tai-Yuan Chiu as the President.
1 Apr. The Hospice Palliative Shared Care Program took effect.  
2010 Jul. Taiwan ranked 14th among 40 countries in the world and first among the countries of Asia in the Quality of Death Index Survey conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit.
2009 Nov. TAHPM was awarded by the Ministry of the Interior as a National Outstanding Civil Organization in 2008.
1 Sep. The National Health Insurance Bureau announced adding eight categories of non-cancer terminally illness eligible for palliative care to be reimbursed by National Health Insurance.
Aug. The sixth TAHPM Board of Directors was established, and Dr. Tai-Yuan Chiu was elected as the President.
2008   TAHPM and TAHPN jointly conducted the Hospice and Palliative Care Education Training Courses.  
2007 Sep. TAHPM was awarded by the Ministry of the Interior as a National Outstanding Civil Organization in 2006.
Jul. The fifth TAHPM Board of Directors was established, reelecting Dr. Ching-Yu Chen as the President.
May TAHPM office moved to 6F, No. 142, Linsen South Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei City.
2005 Jul. TAHPM was recognized by the Ministry of the Interior as a National -Outstanding Civil Organization in 2004.
Jun. The fourth TAHPM Board of Directors was established, and Dr. Ching-Yu Chen was elected as President.
2004 Aug. TAHPM was recognized by the Ministry of the Interior as a National Outstanding Civil Organization in 2003.
Jun. The General Assembly of the Asia-Pacific Hospice and Palliative Care Network (APHN) was held in Taipei, Taiwan.
2003 Aug. The third Board of Directors was established, and Dr. Andrew Y. H. Young was elected the President.
Jul. TAHPM was recognized by the Ministry of the Interior as a National Outstanding Civil Organization in 2002.
2002 Jul. TAHPM was recognized by the Ministry of the Interior as a National Outstanding Civil Organization in 2001.
2001 Sep. TAHPM conducted accreditation for palliative medicine specialist training hospitals, certifying 12 hospitals.
12 Jun. TAHPM was awarded by the Ministry of the Interior as a National Outstanding Civil Organization in 2000.
Jun. TAHPM held its first National Hospice Palliative Medicine Teleconference. 
2-5 May The 2001 Asia Pacific Hospice Conference was held at Taipei International Convention Center.
May The second TAHPM Board of Directors was established, reelecting Dr. Yuen-Liang Lai as the President.
 25Apr. The Enforcement Rules of the Hospice Palliative Care Act were promulgated by the Ministry of Health Order, Wei Shu Yi Tze No. 09600022792 and became effective on the same date. 
 13 Apr. Taiwan became a member of the Asia-Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network (APHN).
Mar. TAHPM conducted the certification process for palliative medicine specialist, qualifying 93 doctors as specialists.
2000 Jul. The Program to Including Integrated Hospice Care into National Health Insurance was implemented.  
7 Jun. The Hospice and Palliative Care Act was promulgated by Presidential Order Hua Chung (1) Yi Tze No. 8900135080. This Act became effective upon promulgation. 
1999 Jun. Dr. Yuen–Liang Lai was elected President of the first Board of Directors of TAHPM.
29 May TAHPM was established in Tamsui, Taipei County.
